Events: The publicity committee will work with the group at the
time of major events, coordinating e-mails, fliers, articles, and
other forms of publicity. When not working on events, the committee
will work on innovative ways of raising awareness about both mental
health resources and what SMHL does. This committee may overlap with
the resources committee. Ideas for creatively reaching peers
encouraged!!
Grants/Research: The resources committee will work on gathering resources
about mental health on campus, compiling these for use by all student
groups. This is essential for providing information to the student
body. They will work with the publicity committee to make sure the
information is accessible. Committee may also work on a social norms
type of project. Additionally, they compile and evaluate the data from Freshmen
workshops and the Depression-Anxiety Screening.
Web/Communications: The web committee will work towards developing the website into a combination of self-exploration resources (blogs, articles, etc.) as well as official resources for the Harvard community. It will also be in charge of managing blog submissions as well as updating the Harvard community on local events and SMHL information. This board will also directly deal with any publicity issues.
Recruitment/Marketing: The recruitment/marketing committee works on recruiting new members, coordinating training for the members, and generating new marketing products.
