SERVICES
Individual Counseling
Individual therapy addresses a variety of personal issues and concerns. Counseling provided through the mental health service includes crisis intervention, short-term focused therapy and ongoing therapy for a focal problem, which interferes in one’s functional ability.
Medication Management
Medication management is provided in the context of an ongoing therapeutic relationship, and conducted in coordination with the primary therapist and psychopharmacologist.
WHAT TO EXPECT
New patients are scheduled for an initial 20-minute intake appointment (within 24-48 hours) to speak with a senior clinician by phone. He or she will assess your needs and help you make a follow up appointment with a recommended provider. There are no set limits on visits at HUHS; your care may range from a few visits to an extended period of time depending on the clinical assessment of your needs over the course of treatment. Whether you are experiencing a crisis, looking for positive change, or simply need someone to listen, our team of experienced clinicians will partner with you to improve the quality of your emotional and behavioral health.
